PSHS-SMC Foundation Board of Trustees, headed by President Maria Lourdes Lanzona-Estrellado (’94), along with Arch. Francis Hidalgo, Director Delia Legaspino, Dr. Annie Rodriguez and Ms. Teresita Marañon (President SY 2014-2015) held a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Multipurpose Hall in the area between the dormitories (ABD) during the 29th Foundation Day celebration of PSHS-SMC last February 3, 2017.

The Multipurpose Hall Project was envisioned by the PSHS-SMC Foundation Board of Trustees during the administration of Ms. Marañon. Generous donations from the Alumni and collections from fund-raising events such as the 2014 Pisay Alumni Homecoming (December 27, 2014) and the movie screening of Captain America: Civil War (April 27, 2016) contributed to the realization of the project.

The phase 1 of the project is a 240 square meter covered court with elevated concrete floor. The total project cost is P1,195,965. The project is estimated to take from 120 to 180 days to complete depending on weather conditions.
